The Ocean Tourism | Professional Support for Large-Scale Cruise Groups

MC0916 Cruise · Comprehensive Shore Support Services in Jeju

This voyage was a large-scale charter cruise project for a key client, operating at full capacity with approximately 5,000 passengers, including a MICE group of more than 2,500 senior travelers.

With the challenges of large-scale group movements, a high proportion of senior travelers, and complex coordination requirements for shore reception, The Ocean Tourism Co., Ltd. leveraged its extensive local tourism network in Korea and experience in cruise shore operations to provide comprehensive support covering onboard coordination, shore reception, and emergency response.

01 | Shore Reception · Advance Coordination
To ensure smooth reception of the large group upon arrival in Jeju, we coordinated in advance with relevant local organizations to arrange the shore-side welcome ceremony, group reception, and on-site coordination.
Preparations were made based on the cruise schedule and actual group requirements, helping ensure the smooth disembarkation of a large number of passengers and the efficient operation of shore activities.

02 | Onboard Support · Seamless Coordination
Dedicated staff provided onboard support services, offering passengers information and consultation regarding shore excursions while assisting with the coordination of group disembarkation and return-to-ship schedules.

03 | Emergency Support · Rapid Response
During the voyage, a passenger experienced a sudden health issue and required hospitalization in Jeju. The Ocean Tourism immediately activated its local emergency coordination procedures, assisting with local medical arrangements, hospital coordination, and interpretation services to provide essential support throughout the passenger’s medical care overseas.

With strong local resources, reliable on-site execution, and rapid response capabilities, The Ocean Tourism is committed to providing large-scale cruise groups with smooth, safe, and efficient comprehensive shore services.
