Terms of Use
These Terms of Use (hereinafter referred to as "these Terms") set forth the conditions for using the services (hereinafter referred to as "the Service") provided by Kaiyo Kanko Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "the Company") on this website. Registered users (hereinafter referred to as "Users") shall use the Service in accordance with these Terms.
Article 1 (Application)
- These Terms apply to all relationships related to the use of the Service between the User and the Company.
- The Company may establish various rules and provisions (hereinafter referred to as "individual provisions") in addition to these Terms regarding the use of the Service. These individual provisions shall constitute part of these Terms regardless of their name.
- If the provisions of these Terms conflict with those of the individual provisions in the preceding paragraph, the provisions of the individual provisions shall take precedence unless otherwise specified.
Article 2 (Registration for Use)
- In the Service, the registration is completed when the applicant agrees to these Terms, applies for registration by the method prescribed by the Company, and the Company approves it.

The Company may refuse to approve the application for registration if it judges that any of the following apply to the applicant, and is not obliged to disclose the reasons.
- If false information is provided in the application for registration
- If the applicant has violated these Terms before
- Other cases where the Company judges the registration as inappropriate
Article 3 (Management of User ID and Password)
- The User shall properly manage their User ID and password for the Service at their own responsibility.
- The User shall not transfer, lend, or share their User ID and password with any third party under any circumstances. The Company shall regard any login with a User ID and password matching the registered information as use by the User themselves.
- The Company shall not be liable for any damages caused by the use of the User ID and password by a third party unless caused by the Company's intentional or gross negligence.
Article 4 (Usage Fees and Payment Methods)
- The User shall pay the usage fees for the paid parts of the Service as separately stipulated and displayed on the website, by the method specified by the Company.
- If the User delays payment, the User shall pay a late payment charge at an annual rate of 14.6%.
Article 5 (Prohibited Actions)
The User shall not engage in the following acts in using the Service.
- Acts violating laws or public order and morals
- Acts related to criminal activities
- Acts infringing copyrights, trademark rights, or other intellectual property rights contained in the Service
- Acts that destroy or interfere with the functions of servers or networks of the Company, other users, or third parties
- Commercial use of information obtained by the Service
- Acts that may interfere with the operation of the Company's services
- Unauthorized access or attempts thereof
- Collection or accumulation of personal information of other users
- Use of the Service for illegal purposes
- Acts that cause disadvantage, damage, or discomfort to other users or third parties
- Impersonation of other users
- Advertising, solicitation, or business activities on the Service without the Company's permission
- Acts for the purpose of meeting unknown opposite sex
- Acts providing benefits directly or indirectly to antisocial forces related to the Company's services
- Other acts deemed inappropriate by the Company
Article 6 (Suspension of Service Provision)

The Company may suspend or interrupt all or part of the Service without prior notice to the User if it judges any of the following applies.
- When performing maintenance or updates of the computer system related to the Service
- When it is difficult to provide the Service due to force majeure such as earthquakes, lightning, fire, power outages, or natural disasters
- When computers or communication lines stop due to accidents
- Other cases where the Company judges the provision of the Service difficult
- The Company shall not be liable for any disadvantages or damages suffered by Users or third parties due to suspension or interruption of the Service.
Article 7 (Use Restrictions and Deletion of Registration)

The Company may restrict use or delete the User's registration without prior notice if the User falls under any of the following.
- Violation of any clause of these Terms
- False information in the registration details
- Non-payment of fees or debts
- No response to Company contact for a certain period
- No use of the Service for a certain period since the last use
- Other cases judged inappropriate by the Company
- The Company shall not be liable for damages caused by these actions.
Article 8 (Withdrawal)
The User may withdraw from the Service by the procedure prescribed by the Company.
Article 9 (Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability)
- The Company does not explicitly or implicitly guarantee that the Service is free from defects such as safety, reliability, accuracy, completeness, effectiveness, suitability for a particular purpose, security, errors, bugs, or rights infringements.
- The Company shall not be liable for damages arising from the Service except in cases of intentional or gross negligence by the Company. However, this limitation does not apply if the contract is a consumer contract under the Consumer Contract Act.
- Even in the above case, the Company is not liable for special damages arising from its negligence (excluding gross negligence). The compensation limit shall be the amount of fees received in the month the damage occurred.
- The Company is not responsible for any disputes between Users or third parties related to the Service.
Article 10 (Changes to Service Content)
The Company may change, add, or discontinue the Service content with prior notice to Users, who shall accept these changes.
Article 11 (Changes to Terms of Use)

The Company may change these Terms without individual consent from Users if:
- The changes conform to the general benefit of Users.
- The changes do not conflict with the purpose of the Service contract and are reasonable considering necessity and content.
- The Company shall notify Users in advance of the changes and their effective date.
Article 12 (Handling of Personal Information)
The Company shall appropriately handle personal information obtained through the use of the Service in accordance with its Privacy Policy.
Article 13 (Notices and Communications)
Notices or communications between Users and the Company shall be conducted by the methods prescribed by the Company. Unless a User files a change notice in the prescribed manner, the registered contact is deemed valid and communications sent thereto are deemed received upon dispatch.
Article 14 (Prohibition of Transfer of Rights and Obligations)
Users may not transfer or provide as collateral their contract position or rights and obligations under these Terms to third parties without the Company's prior written consent.
Article 15 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)
- These Terms shall be governed by Japanese law.
- In case of disputes related to the Service, the court with jurisdiction over the Company's head office location shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
